XII Harvia-Saunabau Hungarian National Sauna Master Championship

The XII. Harvia-Saunabau Hungarian National Sauna Master Championship series, held from November to June, concluded over the Pentecost weekend.

The competition consisted of three rounds and a final, with nearly 40 sauna masters participating this season.

From each round, the top two female and top two male contestants qualified for the final, and one additional sauna master per category was selected by the jury to join the finalists.

On June 7–8, the country's 14 best sauna masters gathered to compete at the sauna of the MJUS Resort in Körmend.

In the 2024/2025 season, the Aquaticum SPA Sauna World was represented by Kata Szathmári, Erik Békési, András Botos, and Tamás Farkas.

Our colleagues prepared for the competition for several months, supported not only by the competitors themselves but by the entire sauna master team through joint fan technique training sessions, practice, encouragement, and valuable advice.

In addition to talent, tremendous perseverance, humility, practice, learning, and above all, supportive teamwork were required to bring this sauna season to such a successful close.

We are especially proud that, for the second time in the history of the competition, a title defense took place—this time by Erik Békési, who successfully defended his 2024 Hungarian Champion title in 2025 and is now a two-time Hungarian champion.
