Safety Tips
In the hotel
Never leave your luggage unattended on the sidewalk in front of the hotel or in the lobby, either upon arrival or departure!
Store your valuables in the safe located in your room or at the central safe at the reception! Always lock your hotel room when you leave (even if you're just going to the restaurant and not leaving the building)!
Never leave your handbag unattended in the hotel’s restaurants or public areas!
While walking in the city
Do not carry all your money with you when going for a walk!
Keep your wallet as close to your body as possible, ideally in a zipped inner pocket. If you use a shoulder or cross-body bag, place your wallet at the bottom of the bag.
Be aware of pickpockets who may try to distract you!
Avoid large crowds! If you are jostled in a crowd, turn around immediately to see who bumped into you. This can help prevent your handbag from being stolen.
Never leave your luggage unattended! Pay special attention to your bag when dining in a restaurant!
Carry your camera or camcorder in a way that it cannot be easily snatched from you!
About cars
Always lock your car and never leave the ignition key inside! Make sure the windows, sunroof, and trunk are closed, and the lights are off! If your car is equipped with an alarm system, don’t forget to activate it!
Do not leave valuables in your car! Remember, even a locked trunk does not guarantee full protection against theft!
In case of emergency:
If you lose your credit card, report it to your bank immediately! Also, please notify the nearest police station.
If your travel documents, camera, or valuables are stolen, please report the incident at the nearest police station! A copy of the police report can be used to replace documents or for insurance purposes.
Emergency number (dial from room): 0 112 (Ambulance, Fire Brigade, Police)
In the following cases, please contact the reception:
Emergency medical assistance
Nighttime and weekend dental care
Nighttime and weekend pharmacy services
Technical failures
Useful Advice for Families with Children
Ensure that your child is under proper supervision when you are not able to be with them!
Help your child identify the hotel staff by recognizing the name tag in case they need assistance!
Teach your child how to use the hotel phone and who to contact if they need help!
Teach your child to say NO if someone makes them feel scared, uncomfortable, or disturbed by a request or behavior. It is important that the child immediately informs you or the hotel staff.
Instruct your child to always ask for your permission before going anywhere, getting into a car, or accepting anything from strangers!
Make sure your child knows their personal information (full name, home address, home phone number, your name and phone number, or the name and phone number of the adult they arrived at the hotel with)!
Show them the nearest emergency exit and explain what to do in case of an emergency!
Teach your child how to lock the door from the inside, and instruct them not to open the door to strangers — including hotel staff — unless they have your permission!
If your child is alone in the room and answers the phone, tell them not to say they are alone. Instead, they should say that you are unable to come to the phone at the moment!
If you have any safety-related concerns, please notify the reception!
Fire Safety Regulations
Thank you for following the regulations below and helping us ensure fire safety.
Please:
Do not bring or use pyrotechnic materials, flammable liquids, gas cylinders (or devices that run on them) into the rooms or connected areas!
Do not use coffee makers, irons, hot plates, or any other heat-generating appliances (e.g., personal heaters)!
Use only functioning electrical devices. When leaving the room, remove the room card from the white plastic slot near the door to cut off electricity! If you no longer need the curling iron, electric razor, or hairdryer, unplug them!
If you notice a malfunction in any equipment, switch it off immediately and notify the reception!
Do not place flammable decorations or lampshades on lighting fixtures, and do not use open-flame lighting!
Do not smoke in the room!
In case of fire or smoke, follow these steps:
If you detect fire in the room or any area of the building, alert other guests immediately by pressing the manual fire alarm located in the corridor and shouting “FIRE! – FIRE! – FIRE!” Then notify the reception!
Power in the affected areas must be switched off using the switches in the rooms.
If possible, take your valuables and evacuate the building following the escape route displayed on your door!
If you believe it is safe, you may attempt to extinguish the fire using the fire extinguisher or fire hose located in the corridor.
If you successfully extinguish the fire, inform the reception!
Electrical appliances must be used according to operating instructions — ask hotel staff for help if you're unsure how to use them!
When leaving the room, unplug all electrical appliances. When unplugging, ensure that the socket is not pulled out of the wall and that no sparks are caused!
If media or electrical devices in the room catch fire or malfunction, disconnect them from the power supply if possible and notify the staff.
Flammable materials should be stored at least 1 meter away from the central heating unit and its pipes.
Storing or using flammable liquids in the hotel room — except for beverages and cosmetics — is strictly prohibited!
In case of fire, follow the instructions of hotel staff when evacuating, and upon arrival of the fire department, follow the lead firefighter’s instructions!
Do not use elevators during a fire!
Stay calm and help ensure orderly evacuation for quicker building clearance.
If evacuation is not possible, ventilate the room by opening a window and seal door gaps to block smoke!
If you cannot exit, signal for help through the window and try to communicate with people outside to start your rescue as soon as possible!
Prevent fire from entering the room by wetting the door with water!
Protect yourself from smoke by covering your mouth with a damp cloth!
If you have any comments or problems, please do not hesitate to ask the staff for assistance!
